The benefits of Engineering and Technology towards National Economic growth and sustainability, cannot be overemphasized, therefore the need to develop an engineering mindset in the society. This can be achieved by early exposure of the younger generation to Engineering, Technology and Innovations.

SciEtech, as part of its activities to broaden the knowledge of students in engineering towards career planning while also improving their use of English and writing ability has as one of its programmes, Engineering Essay Competition for Junior and Senior Secondary school students within the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. This will be extended to schools across the Country with the relevant Stakeholder collaboration.

You are specially invited to the 2^nd and Final stage of the 2022 Engineering Essay Competition.

There will be lecture presentation on the following topics;

• “Clean Water & Sanitation, and How the Children Can Be Part of Programmes to Achieve the Goal” by OSSAP-SDGs

• “Clean Water Supply to the Nigerian Child” by Federal Ministry of Water Resources (FMWR)

• “Infrastructure Development within Abuja: What You Need to Know” by Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA)
