Economies are growing because of innovation. If ours must grow, the capacity of engineering and innovation must be developed. Parts of the key finding of the next generation Nigeria task force convened by the British council of Nigeria were:

Many young engineers are ill-equipped for life in modern economy. The next generation can make a large contribution to Nigeria's future but if its potential is not harnessed, it will become an increasingly disruptive force.

This is why we need to build a future where growth of engineering, science and technology will lead to high tech innovation that will define the next century. Let us therefore, invest in, and support the building of the next generation.

Discussion on the way forward and continuous assessment of actions taken.

Participants will be drawn from chief executive officers of private organizations and education related MDAs, professional organizations, regulatory organizations, institutions, international organizations and NGOs. Here is an opportunity to hold a stake in the nation's development.

Mentorship Program

SciEtech provides a forum for direct or indirect contact with mentors who are professionals in government, industries, and in academia. We achieve this through career development programs such as discussion groups, career fairs, seminars, and workshops.

University Outreach

As a mentoring organization aimed at career development, SciEtech periodically organises University Outreaches beginning with the Engineering Faculties of Federal Universities around the country in collaboration with professional bodies.
